The project in the Redwood Neighborhood of Oxnard consist of the following improvements:
The installation of new water lines and resurfacing of the streets. The water lines will be east of South Ventura Road and West of “J” Street, between Spruce Street and Teakwood Street. The sidewalks, curbs, and gutters will also be repaired and new street name signs will be placed on all streets for this project.
Dates: January 2018 - May 2018 (weather permitting)
The walkability, or in other words, the proximity to convenience stores, coffee shops, restaurants and more has drastically improved with the development of The Port Place Shoppes on the corner of Ventura Rd and Channel Island Blvd.
